How well do you know Hauppauge and Nesconset? We're about to test your knowledge of your hometown.

Back by popular demand, this week's "Historical Where Was This Photo Taken?" goes back in time, to take a glimpse of Hauppauge's past. We'd like to see if you can identify these landmarks, memorials, signs, and local scenes.

Tell us where you think the photo was taken by giving us your best guess in the comment section below.

We'll announce the first person to guess the correct answer each Friday on Facebook and Twitter.

Congratulations to Christopher D`Antonio and Phyllis Stein for correctly guessing District School No. 6, and Christopher Crean who guessed correctly on Hauppauge Patch's Facebook page.

If you would like to submit a photo you've taken in the past for a "Where Was This Photo Taken" challenge, email Editor Sara Walsh at sara-megan.walsh@patch.com. Please include the photo, your name and a little something about yourself in the email.

I cheated and looked already, so I won't be guessing on this one. ;-)

Sara, I showed picture to a few of the senior members at HFD who are life long residents and they were stumped also!
