Monday kicks off the week with a series of classes to expand to change your lifestyle.
Long Island Solar Solutions will hold a free informational seminar "Go Green, Save Green" at the Sheraton Hotel, 7 p.m. on ways to bring green technology to your house.

Monday kicks off the week with educational classes and seminars that offer Hauppauge residents advice on everything from solar power to quitting smoking.
1. Long Island Solar Solutions will host a free Go Green, Save Green seminar at the Sheraton Hotel from 7 - 9 p.m. Learn about solar panels, LIPA rebates and more to make going green affordable in your home.
2. Hauppauge Public Library is holding a class on Word Basics at 10 a.m. Learn how to navigate and use the specialized function of Microsoft words in a one-hour class. Call 631-979-1600 to reserve a seat.
3. Trying to quit smoking? Quit Smoking through Hypnosis will be offered by certified hypnotist Albert O`Connell at the Islandia Marriott from 4 - 5:45 p.m.
4. Long Island Cares hosted its first Kids United Against Hunger class on Saturday. Find out what local students learned by pitching in to pack food for the homeless on Patch this afternoon.

Hello! I have just registered at hauppauge.patch.com and I love it so far. I just want to tell you about myself and how I recently quit smoking with the help of an electronic cigarette. Electronic cigarettes have been on the market for quite some time and have been endorsed by celebrities and promoted in different ways. I ordered Regal electronic cigarettes and received my free trial a few days later. I can tell you that I will never go back to smoking regular tobacco. Now I do not have yellow teeth and bath breath and I feel myself way better. I also stopped coughing.
