New York's 2010-11 School Report Card Unveiled

Hauppauge Board of Education to reveal results of state report card, recognize athletes on Tuesday night.

Hauppauge school officials will unveil the results of the district's New York State 2010-2011 report cards on Tuesday night.

According to the Board of Education's preliminary agenda, school officials will start the evening by recognizing its girls varsity basketball team, the cheerleading team and two outstanding athletes from the winter sports season.

The first presentation of the evening by school officials will be on the district's 2010-11 New York State School report card. The New York State School Report Card measures the district's enrollment, class sizes, staffing, and students overall performance. 

 In 2009-2010, the state school report card revealed more Hauppauge students were earning advanced diplomas despite overall lower Regents scores.
