Question: What Issues Should the Board of Education Address?
Tell us what is happening in Hauppauge Public School district that concerns you and needs to be taken care of.
Hauppauge Public School Trustees will hold their first meeting of the 2011-2012 school year at 8 p.m. Thursday in the James Baxter Board Room at the former Whiporwhil Elementary School.
The board's agenda include signing a new contract with Hauppauge Teaching Assistants Association through June 2014, accepting donations to the school district and changing the school district's policy on the use of cell phones.
These are just a few issues that touch on the changes happening within the district, as middle school teams are combined this year and the high school is implementing a new International Baccalaureate program.
