Question: What's Your Advice for the Class of 2011?
Hauppauge seniors will walk across the stage this afternoon to receive their diplomas.
Hauppauge High School seniors are preparing for their graduation ceremony this Sunday afternoon. Each student will take one final walk across the auditorium stage to receive their diplomas and join the Class of 2011.
But before the graduates receive their diplomas, they will hear a number of speeches from their fellow classmates and honored guests. These speakers may reminisce about their years in Hauppauge Public Schools or attempt to give advice for the years ahead.
Many graduation speaches are unremarkable, forgotten hours after they are given. But occasionally graduates will take away pearls of wisdom, new insight and valuable advice based on life experience.
