Islandia Company Fills Backpacks for Kids

Good morning, Hauppauge. Here's a look at what you should know about today in town.
Hats Off to 40 CA Technologies employees who recently hosted 50 children from Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club at Islandia's CA Technologies for “Fill your Backpack Field Day.”
The children participated in events including a soccer agility course, frisbee toss, tennis bull’s-eye game and basketball free throws. Following each activity the youngsters were awarded school supplies for their participation.
CA Technologies employees contributed 1,000 pencils, 1,500 crayons, 200 notebooks, 600 ballpoint pens, 3,000 index cards and 150 highlighters for the event.
