Hauppauge Honor Students Prepare 'Meals From The Heart'

Hauppauge High School’s National Honor Society members recently prepared a special dinner for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park.

The Ronald McDonald House provides families with a place stay while their children receive medical treatment. The families, some of whom have spent more than 150 days there – come from all over the United States and the world.

Seniors Katie Austin and Nick Lupo; and Juniors Nick Cecchini, Luke Farrell, Katie Finn, Sarah Jacobs and Vinnie Policastro prepared the dinner as part of the Ronald McDonald House “Meals from the Heart” program.
