HAUPPAUGE STUDENTS LAUNCH SEA PERCH ROBOTS BUILT BY ENGINEERING CLUB

As part of a special STEM grant from former Hauppauge student Nolan Conway, Middle School students spent numerous hours building Sea Perch underwater robots with their Engineering Club Adviser Maryann Mullen. The students recently had the opportunity to launch their Sea Perch robots in the Hauppauge High School pool. Using remote controls also built by the students, they were able to maneuver the robots to dive, turn and even race each other.
