10 Places To Party On New Year's Eve

Here's a guide to happening parties to help you ring in 2011.

Have you thought about where you are going on New Years Eve? It's one of the biggest party nights of the year. Here our list of 10 places in or near Hauppauge to celebrate the New Year. 

1.
This Hauppauge hotel is ringing in the New Year in their grand ballroom with a live performance from The Living Dead Mafia. You must be over 18 years of age to purchase a ticket. Tickets can be purchased online. The Sheraton will also have a masquerade ball with a cash prize for the best costume, food, cash bar, a DJ and more.

Madison is having a New Year's Eve dinner party featuring Tommy Sullivan and Friends, in addition to Cherry Pie will be performing. The restaurant is offering three different seating times. All services will offer the full menu. Tickets cost $125 and can be purchased in the restaurant.

This Hauppauge-based steakhouse is offering customers a limited menu with numerous seating options. You can call in advance or just walk-in. There is no additional fee or charge. More specials will be announced closer to the event.

4. Silk Ultra Lounge
This local hot spot is is having a major New Year's Eve party. Silk owners said they are hoping to offer numerous specials and packages. A schedule of events is currently being finalized and will be announced on their website shortly.

5. Dave & Buster's
The Islandia gaming store, restaurant and bar is offering a buffet package with unlimited coffee, tea and soda. Those purchasing a ticket for the buffet will also receive a $15 power card that is good towards playing various arcade and sports games. Reservations must be made in advance. Tickets are $30 per adult and $20 per child. 


6. Perfecto Mundo
This Commack restaurant will be serving up a three-course dinner with live music by 6 Gun 5, including complimentary beer and wine. If you are looking just to party and not to eat, there is a music and drink packages starting at $35 per person. 

7. Napper Tandy's
This Smithtown bar is having a 5-hour unlimited ticket from  9 p.m. - 2 p.m. This offers all customers an unlimited access to the bard  and food with a champagne toast at midnight. A DJ will be providing music all night long. Tickets are $50 per person.

This restaurant will be offering a limited New Year's menu. It will be passing out whistles and other props once it gets close to midnight. The Garden Grill has a full speaker system ready to play all the favorites as you dine on the last night of 2010. Reservations are being accepted via phone.

The Watermill thinks 2010 was so great, they are celebrating twice. The Watermill is going to be having two different parties in 2 different rooms on New Year's Eve. One will have a live band and the other will feature a DJ. Both will have an open bar, buffet and even a sit down dinner. It will be passing out noise makers, hats and other festive props with a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $135 each for the DJ, $140 for the live band.

10.
This Smithtown bar is doing an eight-station dinner buffet. The New York City ball drop will be streaming live from Times Square so customers to can see the ball drop on one of their numerous television screens. A DJ will be playing music all night long and passing out party favors. A continental breakfast will be offered in the morning. Purchase tickets online or in-house.
