Board of Education Meeting

The Hauppauge Board of Education is meeting Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. Meeting to be held in the James Baxter Board Room at Whiporwil School. Items on the agenda include Transportation Efficiency Study and discussion of the 2012-13  budget.

Library Board of Trusteees Meeting

The Library Board of Trustees holds meetings every month. Hear the board discuss the important issues facing the library. Minutes will be available on the website after the meetings. Meeting is Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.

Planning Board Meeting

The Town of Smithtown Planning Board is meeting at the Smithtown Senior Citizens Center Wednesday evening at 8 p.m.

What Your Kids Are Really Saying About Drugs and Alcohol

The Hauppauge Youth and Community Alliance invites you to hear trends that were identified in the New York State Youth Development Survey that was given to all 7th-12th grade students during the 2010-11 school year. Learn how the patterns were identified in the survey and how the results will guide the work of the Youth & Community Alliance Committee.

Step up to the mic and sing to your heart's content on Karaoke Nights, every Wednesday at The Grafton Street Pub from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. The event is run by Karazee-Karaoke, no cover charge.
