Hauppauge Library Budget Vote

The Hauppauge Public Library will hold its budget vote on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the library. The library is inviting kds to get a taste of the electoral process by voting for their favorite superhero.

Exercise for Seniors

It's always good to get some exercise in, all you need are water, weights, and a mat. Please note a health waiver must be signed prior to your first class.

Reuse a Shoe

Bring your worn out shoes to the Commack Jewish Center and toss them in their bins instead of tossing them in the trash. Nike Reuse-A-Shoe can recycle them into new places to play, like playgrounds, running tracks, football fields, basketball courts and more. Athletic shoes only, any brand.

Board of Education

The Hauppauge Board of Education meets Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. in the James Baxter Board Room at Whiporwil School. Agenda items include recognition of the 2012 SOAR graduates and approval of the agreement with United Public Service Employees Union.

Spring Fling

Kids can welcome the spring season with a variety of colorful spring art activities. Thursday, 10:30 a.m. Hauppauge Public Library.
