5 Events to Attend This Weekend

It's Friday and time to start looking forward to the weekend ahead. There are many events happening near Hauppauge, from Kicks for Cancer at Hauppauge High School on Saturday to a nearby Fall Festival.

Here's five events to attend this weekend:

1. will host its fourth annual fundraiser starting at 10 a.m. Saturday in the football stadium. Hauppauge youth soccer teams will take to the field for an exhibition match at 10 a.m. Hauppauge's undefeated varsity girls soccer team will host North Babylon at noon, followed by the boys varsity soccer team versus Bellport at 2 p.m. There will be food, games and entertainment for children in addition to the games.

2. Watch as Hauppauge High School drama club puts a new spin on William Shakespeare's on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. It will bring the love story to live in a new way.

3. Take time to browse the works of local artisans at the Cleary School for the Deaf's second annual from 10 am. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

4. Celebrate the arrival of autumn at nearby White Post Farms throws its on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. For $14 admission, children can enjoy unlimited hay rides, games, crafts, petting zoo animals, live entertainment and pick their own pumpkin.

5. Learn more about yoga and meditation at the on Wheeler Road Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be free classes and demonstrations throughout the day.
