5 Places to Dine Outdoors for Memorial Day Weekend

A little rain is predicted for the weekend, but it won’t be a washout. Good food can only be made better with a meal enjoyed outdoors. Here are a few local spots where you can grab some grub in the fresh air.

The patio sidewalk makes this a great place for lunch or an alfresco drink as you people watch along Smithtown’s Main Street.   

Zar Cafe
A cozy patio with planter boxes filled with flowers offers a pleasant spot for an outdoor lunch, dinner or drinks. 413 Lake Avenue, St. James.

Del Fuego
This Tex-Mex spot has a patio tucked in along side of the restaurant dotted with a few picnic tables perfect for a casual dinner with the kids or a little respite from the crowd inside. 429 North Country Road, St. James.
