#82 - Take Fido to Blydenburgh Dog Park

Dogs and their owners can run around, socialize at Blydenburgh County Park.

The summer is a time to catch up with friends, including our four-legged friends. Dogs, or man's best friends, are looking to get in the summer for an afternoon of running around in the sun.

But where can you go with your dog? Many town and county parks don't allow you to bring your canine counterpart.

has a 2-acre dog park where owners and their dogs can run freely, play and socialize with other dogs and their owners. It attracts dog owners from far and wide, with often more than 40 dogs in the park on any weekend afternoon.

The dog parks has two fenced in pens, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. These are areas where dogs may be allowed to run unleashed, free to run and interact with other dogs.

All dogs should be wearing a collar with proper identification, must be vaccinated and fully licensed. Owners must keep their pet on a leash until reaching the off lease area.
