April 18: Spring Craft Festival, Excel and Sports

It's spring break, and the kids need activities. Luckily there are more than a few happening Monday.

This Monday is the first day of spring break at Hauppauge Public Schools and Hauppauge students and their families have a selection of local events to choose from to keep busy.

1. The is hosting its starting at 10 a.m. Young children are invited to use the library's supplies to create art projects as teen volunteers supervise the activities.

2. Increase your computer skills by learning at the Hauppauge Public Library at 10 a.m. The class will teach participants how to make, edit and save Excel documents.

3. The will be traveling to compete against nearby Sayville at noon. Let's go Eagles.

4. It's Hauppauge Little League Team week at Modell's in Commack. Visit the league's website for a 15 percent off coupon. A percentage of all sales will be given back to Hauppauge Little League.

5. Do you know a Hauppauge resident who promotes a green lifestyle?
