April 26: Islip Town Meeting, Lacrosse, and Board of Education meeting

There are two important community meetings for Hauppauge resident to attend this Tuesday.

This Tuesday, there is a Town of Islip board meeting and a Hauppauge Board of Education meeting where residents can speak out on local government and school community issues.

1. The Town of Islip will be holding a board meeting at 2 p.m. at Islip Town Hall. Items on the agenda include approving a contract for road paving and considering changes to Islip Town law about parking personal trailers along the side of roadways.

2. The will host Kings Park at at 5:45 p.m. The Lady Eagles are undefeated in league play with a 7-0 record so far this season.

3. Thewill be holding one of their bimonthly meetings at 8 p.m. at the former The board will recognize trustee Geri Richter for receiving an award and discuss a new policy for home-schooled students.
