Troop 349 Honors 5 New Eagle Scouts

Two Eagle Scouts' projects improved the Clearly School for the Deaf in Nesconset.

Boy Scout Troop 349 of Nesconset recognized five of its members for obtaining the rank Eagle Scout on Jan. 21.

Not even the winter's first snowfall could stop the Nesconset Boy Scouts of America from holding a Court of Honor ceremony at the Cleary School for the Deaf in Nesconset last Saturday. More than 100 people showed up to celebrate the Boy Scouts achievements at the Cleary School for the Deaf in Nesconset.

Each of the Boy Scouts has to complete a community-based service project in addition to his badges to earn the rank of Eagles Scout.
