Dec. 17: Auction-A-Teacher, Holiday Art and Jazz

This Friday has a little something for everyone. Start it off with a high school event, followed by arts and music that will get you in the holiday spirit.

1. Things might seem topsy-turvy during

Let children use their creativity to explore the holiday season with at at 10 a.m. Hear holiday stories from Blue before making crafts to bring home. This program is for children ages 2 1/2 to 5.

3. Join Smithtown Township Arts Council for their monthly at Mill Pond House, 7:30 p.m. Bring your instrument to join in a night of jazz improvization and challenge your skills. Beginners are welcome.

4.  Don't head out to visit friends and family this weekend without checking Patch's weekly Gas Guide this Friday. We'll always tell you where to fill your tank and save.
