Dec. 29: Snow Fun and Sports Moments of 2010

Wednesday is a winter wonderland full of outdoor activities and opportunities to enjoy the snow.

Wednesday is another day for snow-filled activities in the wake of the blizzard, as schools remain closed and the roadways clear. Take to the highways to cheer on Hauppauge's varsity sports teams as they compete, or come back as Patch reflects on the 10 best sports moments of the fall season.

3. Enjoy building snowmen, frolicking in the winter wonderland that has blanketed Long Island? Head to the Town of Islip's event for snowmen building contests and winter treats in honor of the holiday season at the nearby Ronkonkoma Beach Pavilion, noon - 8 p.m. 

4. Share your concerns about the Hauppauge community at the forum at 7 p.m. It's time to speak out about recent happenings, events, or tip off police to recently happenings.
