Dec. 9: Teacher Conferences, Concerts And A Holiday Light Contest

1. It's at Hauppauge School District elementary schools. All schools will be having early dismissal: at 11 a.m., and at 11:30 a.m.

2. Bring the family down to enjoy 's seventh-grade . Due to ongoing construction, the concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Commack High School, 1 Scholar Lane, Commack.

3. Learn about the history of woodwind instruments while listening to a holiday music performance at the hosted by the Islip Arts Council at East Islip Public Library, 7 p.m.
