Hauppauge's faithful will gather to give thanks together in an annual tradition that takes on new meaning this year.
The Hauppauge Community Interfaith Service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at Temple Beth Chai as the place of worship.
Over the years, Hauppauge residents who worship at Temple Beth Chai, Calvary Lutheran Church, United Methodist Church and St. Thomas More Catholic Church traditionally come together on Thanksgiving Eve to give thanks for what they have the community they live in together.
