To celebrate the achievements of the children who have been involved in the Summer Reading Program through the Smithtown Library, they will be putting on a finale event on Sunday, August 12.
The finale will consist of two variety shows taking place on the front lawn of the Smithtown Library, one at 11 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m. All children who finished the program, having read seven books through the summer, are invited to participate. Each show will be 45 minutes long and will include comedy, juggling and various other acts.
Everyone is invited to watch the event and is encouraged to bring a blanket or chairs to enjoy the show.
