Feb. 17: Give 5, Singles Networking, and Library Trustees

Thursday is a Give 5 day here at Patch, where editors head out into the community to lend a helping hand. So as you go about your day or attend events, keep your eyes open for Patch staff. 

1.  Bring your child to at the main branch of the Smithtown Public Library from 2 - 2:30 p.m. This interactive program designed for children age 3, focuses on singing, rhyming and story telling. 

2. Have an idea for a program at the y? Would you like to volunteer or have your opinion be heard? The Library's will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. 

3. A  will be held at at 7:30 p.m. It's time to make a new friend, network for business and possibly meet someone for a date this weekend. 

4. Patch had an article about theyesterday, but they are not the only sign of spring. Check today's Viewfinder,  Thursdays at 1 p.m., to see hopeful spark of spring are emerging with warmer temperatures.
