Gas Guide: Prices Fall for the Fourth Straight Week

Checking Patch's weekly guide to local gas prices can help you save as much as 30 cents a gallon for 87-octane fuel.
Gas prices across Hauppauge continue to drop for the fourth straight week, as the cost per gallon of 87-octane fuel edge closer to $3.50 than $4. However, the price drop is by a few cents, not by the double-digit margins seen earlier this month.
Sunoco gas station on Motor Parkway has the lowest price per gallon of fuel at $3.59. Gulf and Mobil gas stations on Wheeler Road, on the Long Island Expressway service roads, have the highest prices in the Hauppauge area.
