Checking Patch's weekly guide to local gas prices can help you save as much as 82 cents a gallon for 87-octane fuel.
After gasoline prices spiked across Hauppauge and the surrounding areas throughout the summer, prices are holding relatively steady for a gallon of 87-octane fuel. The Shell gas station on Motor Parkway has the lowest prices at $3.77 per gallon, followed closely by BP gas station on Wheeler Road at $3.81 per gallon.
