Get Out April 15-17: Shakespeare, Easter Bunny Breakfast and More

Head out to one of these local events this weekend.

There are a variety of events for adults and families happening in Hauppauge this weekend. Whether it's a community sporting event or Earth Day event, Patch has a few suggestions to liven up your weekend.

1. When/Where: Cheer on the Eagles boys varsity lacrosse team this Friday at 5 p.m. at .
Why Go: Gather the entire family to spend Friday evening together, supporting one of Hauppauge's athletic teams. It is a great chance for youth lacrosse players to watch how the game is played at a higher competitive level.
Pricing: It's free.

2.
When/Where: This Friday night at the from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Why: Sing your heart out as a crowd cheers you on, as Friday nights mean karaoke at the Grafton Street Pub. Food and drinks are available for purchase.
Pricing: There is no cover charge.

When/Where:
Meet the Easter Bunny this Saturday at the Brentwood Legion Ambulance at 8 a.m.
Why:
Get in the holiday spirit a little early this Easter. Head down to the Brentwood Legion Ambulance for breakfast with family and friends before taking pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Price:
Tickets costs $6 per person, but children under 2 attend for free.

When/Where: Head to Stony Brook's Staller Center for The Arts this Saturday at 8 p.m.
Why: Watch the Russian National Ballet give back-to-back performances with Chopiniana and the well-known story of Romeo and Juliet.
Price: Admission costs $42 per person.

When/Where:
Celebrate Earth Day this Sunday at the Smithtown Sweetbriar Nature Center at 1 p.m.
Why: Bringing Earth Day Home is an informative program where families and scouting groups can learn 10 things you can do to be a good neighbor and also hear the stories of 10 native creatures that are more common than you think.
Pricing: Admission is $5 per person.
