Get Out April 8-10: Lacrosse, All Kids Fair and Live Music

Head out to one of these local events this weekend.

There are a variety of events for adults and families happening in Hauppauge this weekend. Whether it's a community sporting event or live music, Patch has a few suggestions to liven up your weekend.

1. When/Where: Cheer on the Eagles boys varsity lacrosse team this Friday at 5 p.m. at .
Why Go: Gather the entire family to spend Friday evening together, supporting one of Hauppauge's local athletic teams. It is a great chance for youth lacrosse players to watch how the game is played at a higher competitive level.
Pricing: It's free.

2. When/Where: Hear the Pamela Betti Band perform on Friday, 9 p.m. at the The Grill Room. Why: The Pamela Betti Band will play a blues set that is sure to get your toes tapping. It's a chance to kick back and enjoy a cocktail or two while listening to a local band.

When/Where:
View the show on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, at Caleb Smith State Park.
Why:
Enjoy a relaxing Saturday in Caleb Smith State Park while viewing the work of photographers Jeff Bevis and Stuart McCallum.

It's free.

When/Where: Head to the All Kids Fair on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Melville Marriott - Long Island.
Why: The All Kids Fair is focused on one part health and wellness, part education and activities. It will hold classes in yoga, music, martial arts and sports for children. Parents can take classes on how to improve their child's life. It's the perfect time to start planning how to keep your child active and busy this summer.
Price: Admission costs $5 per person, children under 2 are free.

When/Where:
The concert starts this Sunday at the , 2 p.m.
Why: Matthew Fishteyn, a young pianist and composer, will perform live at the Hauppauge Public Library. Fishteyn said he will be performing original works inspired by a diverse range of musical styles from classical to latin beats.
