Why: Silk Ultra Lounge, Hauppauge's premier nightlife hotspot, has a huge pre-Valentines Day bash in store for Saturday night featuring DJ Theo. DJ Theo is a famous New York City-based House DJ.

5. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
When/Where: Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts at 2 E. Main St in Smithtown.
Why: Smithtown's Center for the Performing Arts will present Beauty and the Beast, a Disney classic. The performance serves as a perfect daytime activity for children of  all ages.
