Grab & Go: Kids Planner: S'mores, Skating and More

Take advantage of events for your kids around Hauppauge.

This week Hauppauge Patch has found a great selection of family-friendly events to enjoy with your children from Feb. 23 - March 1. Pick and choose from winter recess ice skating, Legos, a book fair, fun with s'mores and more.

Where/When:  Feb. 20 - 25 at  from noon - 5:45 p.m.
Why Go: The Rinx of Hauppauge is great for kids and adults of all ages to try their hand at ice skating. There's no better activity for the entire families to get active and moving while off from school and work.
Pricing: $7.50 - $10

Where/When: On Feb. 24 from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. 
Why Go: This nature program encourages children to explore the outdoors in signs of the wildlife living around us during the winter months in nearby Nissequogue River State Park. Registration is required. 
Pricing: $4 adults, $3 children, $8 parking

Why Go: Snowman S'mores is a fun activity for kids in grades kindergarten-5 to show their creative side and enjoy chocolate treats.

Why Go: Students and parents are invited to take advantage of the large selection of books that will be for sale at the Middle School book fair. Hauppauge students will be provided with many resources to enhance their reading habits and ability.

Why Go: 
Bring the whole family to enjoy this Disney classic live on stage. For just $15 a ticket, it is affordable for all and certainly money well spent.
