Help Wanted: LI Cares, Citibank, Esurance Are Hiring

Hauppauge is home to the second largest industrial park in the nation, with corporate complexes lining Veterans Memorial Highway and 'mom and pop' shops that are essential to daily life. With so many local businesses, there's always an employer looking to hire, a job opening that needs to be filled.

LI Cares, Esurance, ACLD, and Citibank are among the employers hiring this week.

*Position: Warehouse Manager
*Description: Long Island Cares - The Harry Chapin Food Bank is searching for a new warehouse manager that can handle staffing  of the non-profit agency's warehouse. The position's responsibilities include receiving shipments, inventory control, distribution, and building and property maintenance to meet  Feed America and other regulatory agency requirements. 
*Requirements: Applicants should have at least five years prior experience in warehouse distribution or a related field. An ideal candidates will show ability to schedule, give personnel direction, physical plant management with an understanding of safety and health regulations. A New York State driver's license and certification to operate warehouse machinery are needed. Familiarity with Microsoft word, data entry and spreadsheets is useful. Candidates should be physically able to lift 50 pounds. 

Esurance

*Position: Claims Representative 
*Description: Esurance is looking for someone to investigate coverage of insurance, liability and other claims. Any claims representative will have to deal with insurance claims put in by third parties, where an investigation is required to determine damage, cost and resolution. Claim representatives will also have to deal with paperwork submitted by clients that may include police reports, damage claims, claim forms and medical bills. 
*Requirements: All applicants must have a bachelors degree in business administration or a related field. An ideal candidate should be detailed oriented, confident working with customers, strong in problem-solving, and have experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Adults and Children with Learning & Developmental Disabilities

*Position: Psychology Assistant
Description: ACLD is looking for a psychology assistant for their Hauppauge Day Services and Health Center. The assistant would help with all behavioral programs. The position requires  coordinating with the manager to help keep the system flowing. The assistant must be comfortable working administrative tasks and under supervision. 
*Requirements: All applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have at least seven years previous experience if applying with a  high school diploma. If applying with a bachelors, candidates should have at least five years experience.

*Position: Teller 
*Description: Citibank is looking for a new teller in one of their Hauppauge locations. Citibank is looking for a teller who will be comfortable handling large amounts of cash, checks, deposits and withdrawals. A teller deals with customers, small and large businesses, and basic banking needs. 
*Requirements: Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or General Equivalency diploma. Candidates with previous sales experience dealing with money is a plus. All applicants should have good verbal and sales skills.
