Hot Spots To Watch Sunday's AFC Championship

Places in or near Hauppauge to grab food and drinks while watching the game with a few new friends.

If you're looking for a place to grab a drink, a burger or hot wings as the New York Jets take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday, there's a number of places in or near Hauppauge. 

 off Veterans Highway is a local favorite for grabbing food and drink and kicking back to enjoy the game. Staff said there will be drink specials on Coors, Coors light, Bud, Bud light and Coronas. There will be a special of 10 cent wings and $1 burgers during the game. Grafton Street Pub is expecting a crowd, so get there early to secure a seat near the bar. 

Dave & Buster's off Veterans Highway in Islandia is a sports fans paradise for watching the game. Take your choice of various seating areas, pulling up a high stool near the bar or a private table to order your drinks and food. Drink special offers are $2.50 for a Bud Light pint, $3 for Stella Artois. Appetizer specials starting at $4 all day.

Applebee's off Motor Parkway in Brentwood offers a sit-down restaurant option for those looking to watch the game while making sure the young ones have something to eat. Take advantage of the newly revamped 2 For $20 menu that includes football game favorites of boneless buffalo wings, crunchy onion rings and mozzarella sticks. Meals on it include a Riblet Basket and House Sirloin. Drink specials will be decided on the day of. 

T.G.I. Friday's is just barely over Hauppauge's border, off the intersection of the Veterans Highway and Expressway Drive North. Friday's has a "Game Face" Menu featuring combination platters of their favorite appetizers and items off the Jack Daniel's grill menu. Drink specials will be decided on game day.
