Jan. 5: Wrestling, Science Fairs and School Board Notes

This Wednesday runs the gauntlet from wrestling to academics, board meeting notes to soups. Even if your tastes are eccentric, there's an event for you. 

1. Travel to watch take to the mats against Sayville Golden Flashes at 4 p.m. Will the Eagles manage to pin their opponents in the first official meet of the season? If you can't be there to watch, Patch will be there providing you with update late this afternoon. 

2. Make new discoveries at 's  from 6:30 - 8 p.m. It's a great chance to learn something new while discovering what your children are learning in the classroom. 

3. Learn how to make to stave off the cold at  from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Call 631-979-1600 to reserve one of the remaining seats. 

4. Did you miss last night's Board of Education meeting? Don't worry, Patch was there and will have a School Board Cheat Sheet posted for you.
