Nov. 26: Black Friday, Games and a Police report

Friday brings post-Thanksgiving shopping sprees and fun indoor activites.

It's Black Friday. It's the day that marks the beginning of America's holiday shopping spree with doorbuster sales. While some of you spend the day hunting down the best bargains, others will enjoy the day off with a mix of indoor activites.

1. There's a  at the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Public Library.  Spend an hour creating arts and crafts gifts for local seniors and the less fortunate. It's an easy way to give back to your community.

2.  is hosting an for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Library teen volunteers will instruct and oversee teaching children how to play different board games from 2 p.m.  - 3:30 p.m.

3. Watch the movie version of  by Beverly Cleary with the family at Smithtown Public Library, 3 p.m. It's free.

4.  Come back this afternoon as Patch brings you this week's Police Report about what arrests and incidents were reported this week.
