A large, pale yellow sign bearing warm wishes on the corner of Veterans Highway and Lincoln Boulevard in Hauppauge drew attention on Monday.
Residents hung a large sheet reading "Welcome Home Co. Edward Sullivan" on the corner of the intersection, with two pink painted hearts on either side of the word home.
