Tis the season for holiday decorating, and hundreds of homes in the Hauppauge area are decked out in their brightest. Holiday lights are strung up around trees, bushes, houses and more.

It's an annual tradition for many suburban residents to drive the streets of their neighborhood slowly during the holiday season, stopping in awe to gawk at holiday light displays. 

We've compiled those houses that have gone above and beyond the average string of lights and plastic snowmen in Hauppauge and the Hauppauge school district. We have found houses designed to look like gingerbread houses, the North Pole and more.
