PHOTOS: Nesconset Day Draws Large Crowds

Community gathers to enjoy rides, games, shopping and carnival food on a mild, sunny Sunday.

 

Hundreds of area residents flocked to Smithtown Boulevard on Sunday to enjoy a local street fair with family and friends. 

The Nesconset Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Nesconset Day celebrate on Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Smithtown Boulevard. Sunny skies and mild temperatures brought out large crowds to browse through merchants booths while enjoying a mix of games and carnival fare. 

Leg. John Kennedy Jr., R - Nesconset, was on hand with his blood mobile asking attendees to donate a pint of blood to go to local hospitals and receive two free Mets tickets.
