That 70's Band got the crowd dancing as it kicked off the 2012 Nesconset Summer Concert Series on Tuesday night. 

More than 1,000 residents attended the opening night of the Nesconset Summer Concert Series at the Nesconset gazebo on Smithtown Boulevard Tuesday night. The free public concert series will run for five consecutive nights, weather permitting, hosted by the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce.

On July 10, Elton-John tribute band Rocketman will take to the stage to entertain local residents. 

a Hauppauge-based food bank, had set up a booth to collect donations of non-perishable food items and money to help feed Long Island's hungry.
