Shelter Pet of the Week: Meet Morela

Morela is a well-behaved cat who had the misfortune of being in a home with cats that bullied her.

Morela is a domestic cat in search of a loving home, where she won't be bullied by other pets.

Morela ended up at through no fault of her own - her previous owner had four other cats who picked on her. Instead of keeping Morela in harm's way, her previous owner brought Morela to the shelter in hopes that she would be adopted by someone who could provide her with a home where she could feel safe.

Although Morela looks scared in her photo, which was taken the day she was brought to the shelter, she is a very calm and content tabby who would love to bat around a string or just purr next to you on the sofa.
