Spotlight Event: Stories of Surviving World War II

Meet a World War II veteran and Bronze Star recipient.

As Memorial Day nears and the community prepares to honor those who gave their lives in service to the country, join Bernard Rader, a World War II veteran and POW, to discuss his historic story of survival.

Mr. Rader, a rifleman for the 94th Infantry Division, 301st Regiment and a Bronze Star recipient was a prisoner of war in France during World War II. Mr. Rader was one of 149 Allies exchanged for German prisoners. There were only three such exchanges during the war.
