Tap and Barrel, a micropub off Route 347, opened in April 2011. It's motto proudly brags about its 52-tap beer tower, a custom piece or art imported from Walen Works in Solvenia. It's kept well stocked with a mix of Long Island and regional craft brews.

What's on tap changes weekly and seasonally. Over the summer, a pub favorite has been 21 Amendment's Watermelon Ale. However, the first of the pumpkin ales are starting to arrive.

Not sure what you like? Tap and Barrel holds Tasty Tuesdays, which offers local beer aficionados a chance to meet with craft brewers and samples their brands. If you miss out, step up to the bar and talk to one of tenders who are usually happy to offer a sample.
