Two Threads Become One at Keep Me In Stitches

It was a moment of serendipity that brought two crafters together at Nesconset’s Keep Me In Stitches.

A little over a year ago, Rebecca McDonald and Miriam Acard were both running their own craft stores at opposite sides of Smithtown Boulevard. McDonald - a yarn and bead shop, and Acard- a needlepoint business. However, it was a mixture of luck and opportunity that brought them together.

Japanese Retailer Uniqlo Coming to Smith Haven Mall

Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo plans to open its first Long Island store in the Smith Haven Mall this fall. 

Uniqlo, a brand under Fast Retailing Co., sells high-quality, casual apparel in line with its ‘Made for All' philosophy designed to go beyond age, gender, occupation or ethnicity and all other ways that define people, according to its website.
