Looking for a fun thing to do with your friends on a Friday night? Sick of staying in and watching television? Head to the Mills Pond House this spring and summer season for a fun night of art making (ages 7-10). $20 each Friday.

Comedy Cabaret
Looking for a night out with some great laughs? Check out the Comedy Cabaret at the Deer Park Community Center, 41 Homer Ave., Deer Park Friday at 7 p.m. The show features Rich Walker, Joe Pontillo, Mark Herschmann, Scott Schendler and Steve Lazurs. Judy's Walk/Run for Stroke Prevention
June 1 is the Sixth Annual 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Walk for Stroke Awareness and Prevention at Sunken Meadow Park. There is something for everyone to enjoy during this event such as giveaways and prizes, refreshments, T-shirts for all participants, wrist bands, awards for first, second, and third place in various categories and free blood pressure screenings. Sign up at judysrun.com.
