Electing the President 2012
Join James Coll, a decorated NYPD member and lecturer at Nassau Community College, for a discussion on the mechanism of the Presidential Elections and the roll of the Electoral College at  Hauppauge Public Library 7:30 p.m. Friday. This lecture is open to the general public, including residents outside the Hauppauge Public Library area. 

Rock N Roll Ice Skating
Get down while ice skating as The Rinx of Hauppauge hosts a "Rock and Roll" ice skating night with music and more from 8:15 p.m. - 10:15 p.m. Admission is $12.

Family Adventures at Caleb Smith
Take your family out to explore natures wonders with Family Adventures at Caleb Smith State Park on Saturday. This week, "Plundering Pirates" will tell an interesting historical tale while giving your family clues to a treasure hunt. Reservations required. 

Random Acts of Horror
Get in the spirit of Halloween with this series of satirical one-act plays by playwright and producer Steve Strangio at Soluna Studios in Hauppauge on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Plays will include Savage  Hot Babe Massacre, Mad Pixie, X-Boyfriend, and My Date with a Zombie: The Musical. Tickets are $20.

Halloween Parties at SoLuna Studios
SoLuna Studios will be throwing Halloween parties for everyone in the family this upcoming Sunday. There will be a  a Teen Halloween Party, and a Murder Mystery dinner for adults.
