Weekly Planner: Search for Owls, Defensive Driving Course

Mark your calendars not to miss these five events happening in Hauppauge, Nov. 12 - Nov. 16.

 

Nocturnal Wanderings: In Search of Owls
Let your children and the entire family go in search of mysterious night flyers, owls, at Sweetbriar Nature Center at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Dress warm and bring a flashlight. Reservations are suggested. 

Game Day
Bring your favorite board game or card game down to the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Special Library District for Game Day on Monday, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. No registration is required, but space is first-come, first-served basis.

Smithtown Board of Zoning Appeals
The Town of Smithtown's Board of Zoning Appeals will hold public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Eugene Cannataro Senior Citizen Center. Keep an eye on Patch to learn that's on the agenda.

 AARP Defensive Driving
Seniors can make sure they stay safe on the roads with AARP's Defensive Driving Course at the Hauppauge Public Library starting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Costs $17 for AARP members, $19 for non-members. Registration is required.
