Nov. 7: Tubas, Hope and Restaurant Week

Sunday features free musical performance, charity and starts a week to hit your favorite restaurants.

This Sunday features a handful of activities and treats for foodies. Hear the unique sound of a tuba quartet or attend the second day of an Italian film festival at Stony Brook University. A charity event will be held at a Hauppauge restaurant, that's also one of two in Long Island's Restaurant week.

1. Hear the unique brassy warm sounds of the at at 2 p.m. This is their second performance at the library, and promises to be filled with popular song tunes to your favorite patriotic songs.

2. An offers the chance to dine at to in honor of Maria Zuccala-Burke, to offset medical bills from her fight against stage IV breast cancer. Tickets are $30 per person, and will be available at the door.
