Samantha Goldsmith is the franchisee of 10 Red Mango locations, more than any other person in the company.

At 25 years old, Samantha Goldsmith of Saint James, is the franchisee of 10 Red Mango locations, including Hauppauge's.

Goldsmith was recently recognized by Multi-Unit Franchisee magazine as an MVP in the business world, earning the publication’s Influencer Award.

The 25-year-old is the youngest and largest multi-unit franchise owner of Red Mango, one of the fastest growing retailers of all-natural nonfat frozen yogurt and fresh fruit smoothies.  She is also the founder of Goldsmith Companies. Goldsmith has grown her business to 10 units in just two years.

Goldsmith was introduced to the company in 2010, then age 22.

“My dad and I went to a franchise show in New Jersey and loved the way Red Mango’s concept and design looked, but once I tried it, I was hooked,” she said in an earlier interview with Patch.

The young entrepreneur opened her first Red Mango franchise that September in Smithtown. In the following two years, she went on to open nine more locations in Hauppauge, Huntington, Manhasset, Stonybrook, Plainview, Deer Park, Greenvale, North Babylon and Commack, which will open this summer.

“I couldn’t be happier to be doing what I love and seeing others fall in love with the flavorful pleasure that is Red Mango,” she said.

Goldsmith’s journey helped Long Island become the single biggest market for the Red Mango brand to-date by her own example with multiple locations and the validation she shared with prospects in her own backyard as well as across the country.

“Samantha has shown excellent performance in growing her business with her commitment to the Red Mango brand, her employees and the greater communities in which her stores operate,” said Dan Kim, the founder and chief concept officer of Red Mango. “She has become the shining example to future franchise owners who have since followed her lead to join our growing franchise network.”
