Audiovox, Hauppauge Digital and SMSC Reveal New Products

The latest in businesses briefs from Hauppauge's industrial park and commercial businesses.

 

Las Vegas' International CES convention has these Hauppauge-based electronics technology manufacturer's showing their new 2011 products.

Hauppauge-based consumer electronics manufacturer has unveiled several new 2011 products at the International CES convention in Las Vegas, which claims it is the world's largest convention for consumer electronic technologies.  Some of these products and upgrades include:

  •  Prestige remote start and security has been upgraded features including long-range operation up to one mile, a push button LED antenna, hybrid mode, keyless entry,  and new chrome transmitters that intended to better withstand wear and tear. 
  • The Jenson Revolution car speaker line coming in seven sizes and ranging from 140W to 400W. 
  • A Carlink smartphone interface module that allows a smartphone to communicate with cars fore remote start, keyless entry, and a find system to locate automobiles in crowded parking lots. 
  • Under it Audiovox name, the company released its first automotive Blu-ray disc player that plays Blu-ray, DVDs and traditional audio CDs. 
  • Audiovox introduced a smart rear-view camera system that detects pedestrian or objects behind a vehicle, can differentiate between moving and station objects, and provides audio alerts to drivers. 

Hauppauge Digital also presents new technologies in Las Vegas
, a local manufacturer of digital TV and data broadcast receiver for personal products, revealed its new line of products at International CES convention.  Some of these innovations include:

  • Creation of a new TV streamer, Broadway, that allows users to for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPhone touch.  It allows television to be watched on Apple devices using WiFI or any Internet connection. 
  • Its Colossus high definition video recorder for personal computers designed to record video and unencrypted HDMI up to 1080i from Xbox or SLR cameras. 
  • The new WinTV-Aero-m which the company claims can be used to watch live television on laptops and netbooks through a USB port. 

SMSC unveils complete digital wireless audio processor
Electronic semiconductor manufacturer announced the release of DARR83, a completely digital wireless audio processor with tri-band support and  a multi-channel USB audio controller, incorporating both Wi-FI and Bluetooth.
