Rebecca McDonald, co-owner of Nesconset's Keep Me in Stitches, knows how to have a ball, literally.
Using a swift and crank, she spins yarn into a ball for a customer who was purchasing materials to knit a blanket for her grandson.
McDonald said that shoppers, especially children, at the Nesconset Plaza stand outside the shop just to watch the yarn in motion.
