Dec. 3: Venue 56 Becomes Janine's, Basketball, and 1800s toys

Friday wraps up the work week with fun events and local news.

This Friday is action packed. There are many leisure activities open to residents from sporting games to the local library. If you are curious what's going on around you, Patch will have updates today of residents earning awards to the story behind Janine's.

1. Cheer on the Eagles. team travels to take on Shoreham-Wading River in a pre-season showdown. Get an early glimpse at the team at the match.

2. If you are in the mood for old-fashioned fun, bringing down for students in grades 3 - 5 at 4:30 p.m. Children can take party  in games played in the 1800s and make a toy to bring home.
