GNC is the newest store to open at the Motor Parkway Plaza in Hauppauge.
The vitamin and nutritional supplement store came to the shopping center two months ago, next to Hurricane Grill.
Store manager Faraz Naseem said that diet bars and protein supplements have been the big sellers so far for the store, adding that now is the time people are looking to get in shape for summer.
"Diet bars and protein supplements tend to go hand in hand," he said.
Naseem said that OxyElite, which was named the "Fat-loss supplement of the year" in 2012 by bodybuilding.com, has been the biggest seller, along with GNC's own brand.
